Well looking at this from a another perspective lets look at the situation on and off the field, Fans from Norton were afraid to take their own cars Friday night to Pound because they have Norton Colors, flags, and stickers on them......... I personally know my Mother and Aunt and several of their friends took others cars because they feared how Pound would react if Norton won.......Who was it that was kicked out of the Youth football program last year and must now reapply this year for behavior on the part of their fans and Coaches????? Not Norton........It was Pound who had the first unsportsman like call within the first 30 sec. of the game.........To place a second string 14 year old QB in against Pound's first string and have some kid comming for him whether he takes a knee or not and then to have it happen two times looks to me like somebody wanted to hurt someone, we all know to hit someone not in motion can seriously injure them.......what were they thinking?????/ what did they have to gain? Norton has worked HARD to get where they are today. They have come a long way from last to first.

You know, I wasn't gonna say anything on this. But now I'm gonna have to. None of you on this freakin board have a clue what really went on. You think we played dirty, you think we was out to hurt someone, you think we are rednecks and cheap shot people. That's fine, say what you want but you have no clue what really happened.
There was like 1:48 left on the clock and we still had 1 timeout left. So we fire off the line like usual, and one of our linebackers knocks the center into the QB, who we supposedly tried to hurt. The QB then hit the ground. There is no way in hell you can say that's a cheap shot when your own player gets knocked into another and he falls down. That's pathetic. The same thing happened the 2nd time. So, don't go and say stuff you know nothing about. the fact is we had a chance to still win the game, and that's what we was trying to do, was get the ball back. But NO we knocked your own player into your "14 year old QB" and he hit the ground, and everyone wants to say we are rednecks and immature or whatever.
Now for what happened after the game, all I know is one of Burton's coaches comfronted one of our coahces and was saying things that really didn't need to be said, then it went downhill from there, Immature by BOTH sides. So unless you were on the field when all of this was happening you have no freakin clue what you are talking about!
And to my Pound people, I am sorry for posting on anything high school related, it isn't like me, but something needed to be said for all of this ignorance.
The bottom line was you all got beat by the better team again. You all couldnt beat them on the field so you all had to get redneck. Face the facts, you all are a mediocre team, and thats all.
Can this all end seriously?! Good statement B 5 M. Just try not to have all your attitude and emotion into your post bro. burton2019, Norton did win yes but why go and say those things. Calling them rednecks when you know hardly anything about the boys on the team. Maybe a few of them are that word but I know for a fact that not all of them are. And they are better than mediocre. When I played we were mediocre. I have come to face it that it was true. This team plays well together and definitely is not bad. So know what you are talking about first before you go and blast all over them.

I call em as I see them. If you dont like it.....I dont care. Trying to hurt our players after the ballgame is over. That IS pathetic, just like their team. I know Im gonna take alot of heat for these posts, but I could care less. I happen to like alot of people on here who post and are from Pound, but watching the Wildcats friday was watching a bunch of rednecks play. Seems like this tends to always happens in Pound.
All this talk about Pound players being dirty and rednecks is so stupid and ridiculous. The way you look at it and they way our players look at it is totally different. The Norton QB was not hit to be hurt or cause serious harm to, now everyone knows that. Our own QB took alot worse hits in the game than that so please don't make such a big deal over this. The part about Norton fans having to use other vehicles to come to the Pound well that is a good one to laugh at. That is really a joke!! No one from Pound wants to goto jail over a ballgame. Norton is always a competitive team for Pound from little league up. So yeah there is gonna be some more hype and excitement from BOTH teams than all our other games. But not to hurt a player or damage a vehicle. As far as our little league being tossed out of the program well you for one don't know what you are talking about. It was not over a player. I believe the whole issue needs to be dropped. Now you love your players like we do ours and I don't care what you think either. It bothers me that our football players have worked their butt off too and friday when they lost I am sure it hurt no one more than them walking off their home field. So the best thing Norton can do is accept their win and show some class themselves without saying this one or two plays that happened at the end of the game makes all of Pound's players dirty and rednecks. I am sure every town has their own dirty players and rednecks. If not then congratulations!! Now Pounds players have not got on here like in the past and run their mouths saying this or that, they too have been done dirty in games but are they on here whinning and crying? It goes on all the time. I don't like it and I think any player who plays dirty should be tossed out of the game, then maybe it will stop. I've personally seen our players being hit late and clipped and even punched once they are down this season. But I didn't get on here and put the whole team and town down over it. It is hard sitting back and not replying to this post when so many get on here and blow everything up. The fact that someone spit on our coach isn't right either, but you will probably deny it or make some excuse why it was right too. So don't go pointing fingers at us when you too have some from your own town that isn't so perfect on and off the field.
Good point. Bottom line is you all couldnt beat us on the field so you had to resort to other measures. But hey thats in the past already. We're looking forward to the playoffs, while you're looking forward to salvaging your season.
